Job Description

Rthirteen are on the hunt for a Payroll Specialist to join a hardworking team near Norwich in Norfolk. Working alongside the Payroll Manager, you will be ensuring an accurate end to end payroll process.This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. This role offers a salary of up to £28,000 dependant on experience.The companyThis independent company is well-known within the agricultural sector for providing dedicated service and support to farmers & related businesses by utilising their unique data insights and expertise.   • Processing weekly, monthly, 4 weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
  • Handling an incoming enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Preparing any payroll related BACs payments.
  • Liaising with HMRC to provide any relevant documentation and prepare for year-end HMRC returns.
  • Managing pension schemes including liaising with third parties.
  • Keeping abreast with relevant payroll practices, policies and legislation.
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with any ad hoc payroll tasks.
You will have/be:
  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of payroll software.
  • Detail oriented with accuracy across all work.
  • Highly organised and confident in managing tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of relevant payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
  • A proactive, team player who is ready to get stuck in.
Desirable:
  • CIPP Level 4 or equivalent payroll qualification.
