Job Description

Hambleton Farms, an independent, owner run food retail business is seeking a Retail Assistant - Butchery to join the team specialising in making handmade meat-based products. Our business has grown over the last 17 years to be an award-winning operationtrading over 5 sites with 25 employees. Due to the large range of seasonal products, we make instore, no 2 days are the same. The team is a made up of 5 full timers and 2 part timers and we all work closely together. This role is a new role within the team. With the idea being that the skilled butcherswill have more time to butcher if theyre not having to server and or make the added value range. As the Retail Assistant - Butchery here at Hambleton Farms you will:

Work with the Butchers in setting the store up on a daily basis.
Assist in making our seasonal range of meal solutions.
Merchandise displays.
Serve customers.
Assist the team in completion of the daily operations of the department.
Work with the deli team.

Here at Hambleton Farms we are looking for a Retail Assistant - Butchery with:

A love of good food.
A keen eye for detail.
Previous experience in a Butchery Assistant, Counter Assistant, Customer Service or Retail Assistant role.
