Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in Clydach, Swansea for a Systems Support Engineer.The Mond Nickel Refinery, owned & operated by Vale Europe recently celebrated 120 years of production, and is one of the worlds leading Nickel refineries. Vale are globally one of the worlds largest mining companies, with operations in the UK, Asia, the USAand across Europe.The Systems Engineer will support the Engineering function at Vales Nickel Refinery in Swansea.

The role will require the successful candidate to design, implement and control systems of work associated with asset integrity, legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
Experience in a similar position within an industrial manufacturing environment such as Steelworks or Refineries is essential, as well as experience in fields of Engineering or asset maintenance.
Experience of using Project Management or Maintenance Outage Management software packages being highly desirable.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently to ensure the success of their team.It is advantageous for the candidate to have Engineering experience and to have graduated from an Engineering degree course.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well established global leader in Nickel Refining on a 12 month contract.
