Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in Clydach, Swansea for a Project Support Engineer.The Mond Nickel Refinery, owned & operated by Vale Europe, recently celebrated 120 years of production, and is one of the worlds leading Nickel refineries. Vale are globally one of the worlds largest mining companies, with operations in the UK, Asia, theUSA and across Europe.The Project Support Engineer will provide support to the Project team at Vales Nickel Refinery in Swansea.Duties & responsibilities include:

Leading the close-out phase for completed projects.
Ensuring that required documentation such as drawings, user manuals, training packages, Bill of Materials, technical specifications, installation/construction documents, testing documentation, training, commissioning and handover documentation to meet therequired functionality and regulatory standards are available for the end user.
To provide engineering and technical expertise and advice to the process areas and maintenance departments.

The role will require a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to work independently so that the goals of their team are achieved.The successful applicant will have gained Engineering experience and to have graduated from an Engineering degree course. IT and Microsoft 365 skills are essential requirements for the role.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well established global leader in Nickel Refining on a 12 month contract.
