Acorn is currently recruiting for our client at a refinery facility in Clydach, Swansea for an Electrical/Instrumentation Co-Ordinator.Female applications are encouraged, due to under-representation at the Refinery.The successful candidate will work within the CIE Department to Coordinate the predictive, preventative, and planned maintenance work by utilising the resources available. Reporting to the Electrical/Instrument Superintendent, the ideal candidate will possessa sound background in Electrical/Instrumentation, strong Leadership skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Duties will include:* The Coordination of the company Electrical and Contractor Teams* Prioritising the weekly execution plan working closely with the Scheduler and Planner* Identify training needs for the CIE Team and assess their competency* Also accountable for taking all the necessary actions to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, legislative requirements, policies and work standards and governance requirements in area of accountabilityThe successful candidate needs to be flexible and be able to work overtime as required. A good working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work along with the ability to champion safety in the workplace is a key requirement for this role.
