Job Description

Slimming World is the UK’s leading weight management organisation, helping members lose weight in our weekly community groups around the UK and Ireland and online through our digital programme. The company has experienced consistent growth over the past ten years, taking the brand to a clear leadership position in the UK and Ireland.The HR and Organisational Development department work collaboratively with management teams across the company, providing a proactive, serviced-focused and customer driven HR service. We’re looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join the team on a fixed-term contract and take ownership for the delivery of an excellent quality end to end’ HR advisory service across defined business areas.You’ll work closely with the senior team and operational managers to support the timely delivery across a range of core HR activities including, recruitment and selection, talent management, employee relations casework and contract and payroll changes. You’ll also support the operational managers with their department and team performance and development plans, and you’ll be confident in dealing with challenging conversations at all levels. While flexible in your approach when offering HR support and advice, you’ll ensure that solutions are aligned to the business and legally safe and sound.We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • proven experience working at a similar level in a generalist HR environment
  • excellent written and verbal communication, demonstrating warmth and empathy
  • an aptitude for accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving, with good judgement
  • excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and works well under pressure
  • expertise in managing employee casework in line with employment legislation and company policies
  • experience managing payroll processes and associated changes
  • outstanding focus on delivering an excellent quality service and a flexible and adaptable attitude to accommodate changing priorities
