Job Description

Customer Service Administrator £22,000SomercotesMonday to Friday, 37 hrs per weekOverview:The role will be full of variety and an enjoyable challenge in a friendly environment. Your major strengths will be organisational skills coupled with excellent communication and listening abilities and a positive attitude to work. You must be able to workaccurately under pressure and have a flexible approach to support the running of a busy office.Key Duties:

  • Directly dealing with customers over the telephone and email
  • Respond and answer incoming telephone calls as quickly as possible
  • Taking call / orders in a friendly manner, supporting the call with all necessary information
  • Sales order processing onto the system
  • Answer any customer queries, obtaining information to respond to customers in the correct manner
  • Maintain sales email inbox and answer all queries professionally
  • Updating customers on the progress of their orders and keeping them updated with ETAs
  • Liaising with internal colleagues/warehouse staff/transport regarding deliveries
Person Specification:
  • Office based, customer service experience
  • Work accurately under pressure and have high attention to detail
  • IT competent - Word and Excel
  • The ability to respond to time frames and deadlines
  • Excellent data entry and keyboard skills
  • Be highly organised in managing own workload
  • Able to adapt to change at short notice
  • Proactive and detail orientated with a flexible attitude
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Professional, highly organised, self-motivated, team player, customer facing
