Job Description

Overview:Reed Procurement are partnered with a large consultancy business in the UK who are looking for an experienced, Senior Procurement Consultant to join their team. This role is fully remote and they are open to receiving applications from anywhere in the UK.Do you have experience and knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Consultancy, and working on complex procurement projects Paired with a passion and proven track record of managing Compliance and Risk If this sounds up your street, this role is defiantlyworth a look! You will be working on huge contracts in a close-knit team, providing consultancy services to well recognised clients in the Public Sector on Risk and Compliance Procurement. A real gem of a role for someone that loves working on extremely Complexand interesting Procurement Projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Public sector procurement design, compliance, evaluation and moderation.
  • Major public sector projects.
  • Practical application of service level design and performance regimes (SLA & KPI).
  • Advising on practical application of public contracts regulations.
  • Compliance audits, procurement risk appraisals.
DesirableExperience:
  • This role is not about cost saving. Ideally you will have a proven track record in similar roles, whether that be within contract/interim/permanent positions, to showcase your experience when managing Risk throughout complex procurement projects.
  • In depth knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Regulations as you will be working with some of the largest entities in the UK on a consultancy basis.
  • A background of high-level stakeholder engagement/management skills to articulate how you have understood, and managed risk in the process.
  • To understand the complexity of each project, and to show you have thought about pre-empting and balancing risk throughout the project.
  • Worked on CPN type procedures.
