The role of the Inspecting Officer plays a crucial role in the Fire & RescueServices continued pursuit of improved fire safety. Preventing fires before they start you will be undertaking fire safety audits and providing fire safety advice and guidance to local authorities, businesses, the public and to professional and other regulatory bodies. The Fire & Rescue Servicealso influences building design by working with stakeholders and other regulators to ensure fire safety is considered at the outset of major building projects.
