Job Description

An experienced Customer Support Advisor is needed to join the team at UK Vehicle Data Ltd based in Chesterfield on a full-time basis.The role involves working full-time Monday to Friday for at least 37.5 hours weekly. Weekend hours may also be required occasionally.The successful candidate will be required to serve a probationary period of six months before becoming a permanent member of our growing team of A-Class players.This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career with a well-established company!About UsUK Vehicle Data is a VRM Lookup and data company that specialise in Vehicle Registration Mark Lookup for the UK. We offer powerful JSON Cloud services as well as data architecture design and maintenance for our customers.We offer full DVLA, SMMT, MVRIS, Fleetnet, ABI, VDI, UVC and Glasses data code matching and integration services. Integration with our API takes just a few mins; unleash the power of accurate VRM lookup with us.We operate and run VDI Check as a registered trademark in the consumer space offering full Vehicle History Checks similar to that of an HPI Check(r).Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer inquiries and providing timely and accurate responses through various channels such as phone, email, live chat, or social media
  • Identifying and troubleshooting customer issues, concerns, or technical problems and working towards a prompt resolution to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Offering detailed information about products or services, including features, pricing, availability, and promotions, to assist customers in making informed decisions
  • Assisting customers with placing orders, processing payments, and tracking order status to ensure smooth transactions and timely delivery
  • Addressing customer complaints, concerns, or product/service returns by investigating issues, finding suitable solutions, and ensuring fair and efficient resolution
  • Accurately documenting customer interactions, inquiries, and relevant information in the customer support database or CRM system for future reference and analysis
  • Offering technical guidance and troubleshooting support to customers experiencing difficulties with the software, applications, or online platforms
  • Striving to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service, actively listening to customer feedback, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to relay customer feedback, provide insights, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Following company guidelines, service level agreements, and established processes to maintain consistency, quality, and professionalism in customer support interactions
  • Staying updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and customer support best practices to enhance skills and provide effective support to customers
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of the Zendesk ticketing system would be an advantage, and you must be IT literate with good experience in using a computer with software such as Microsoft Office, Google Chrome and other similar applications
  • Training will be given, but we are looking for someone that can hit the ground running and become a valuable member of our team
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, and the ability to work alone and as part of a wider team
  • This role would suit someone that is looking for a new challenge and has a passion for delivering consistent first-class customer support
  • An interest in motor vehicles would be an advantage but not essential
