Cook56 High Street, Chislehurst - BR7 5AQ£10.50 Per Hour20 Hours Per Week - Over a 5-day week with alternative weekendsDo you want to make a positive difference to people’s lives, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being If the answer is yes, then read on, we need you!Who we are.We are Ambient Support a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with mental health needs and people with learning disabilities.Our Service at High Street, Chislehurst is an older adults Continuing Rehabilitation Registered Care Home. It is a large, detached house which provides a home for ten Individuals. We offer a high-quality unique service for older adults with severe andenduring mental health problems with complex needs. We can also support those with early onset dementia and/or diagnosis of autism.The roleAre you passionate about cooking Do you want to play a key role in our service by devising a weekly menu and cooking with our residents This will encompass meeting all the relevant nutritional and dietary needs of the people we support, then this couldbe the role for you!This is a new role within our service so you can really build it and make it your own.You will grow your own vegetables and herbs in the garden to make the whole experience even more bespoke for the people we support.We want to empower the people we support to take an active responsibility in their nutrition and enjoy home grow, home cooked food.About youYou don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications, all you need for this rewarding role is passion , for providing nutritional meals and dignity towards the people we support whilst making the whole experience ofcooking meal fun.In return we offer you
