Job Description

Site ManagerDurhamFull Time | Monday to Friday | 7:30-5:0020 WeeksRate is circa £260 per daySearch are currently working in partnership with a Tier 1 Contractor who have recently been awarded a further project in Durham and require a Site Manager to work within the Site Management Team.This is a refurbishment project with a large cut and carve element to the works.Following this project there are further works in the pipeline so based on performance there could be long term work available.Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the entire lifecycle of the project right through to completion.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, architects, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Conduct tool box talks & issue permits
  • Oversee to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving on-site.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Principal Contractor on refurbishment projects, specifically experience of cut & carve.
  • A Construction or Civil Engineering qualification or Trades Background would be preferred
  • A sound knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisation and planning skills
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • CSCS
RemunerationThis is a freelance position engaged through Search Consultancy.
