We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our well established client.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in a real and active partnership between operations and management, providing month-end accounts, insightful analysis, and reporting. Day-to-day of the role:

Lead month-end accounting processes and conduct financial performance reviews.
Analyse financial data to provide insightful information for effective decision-making.
Collaborate with department heads, empowering them to manage financial decisions through support and education, and build strong relationships across the business.
Manage annual budgeting in line with strategic plans and conduct monthly forecasting.
Provide variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Conduct financial planning and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Develop, improve, and maintain financial reporting and dashboards to monitor business performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities to unlock value within the team.
Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Support the business in the preparation of business cases, assessing financial feasibility, and monitor and report on the performance of changes, including post-implementation reviews.
Perform financial analysis and modelling.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a fast-paced, complex financial organisation delivering accurate results and analysis on time.
Experience in the preparation of business cases and management accounts.
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or nearly qualified / qualified by relevant experience.
Experience in senior stakeholder engagement and change management.
Ability to operate confidently in a financial environment, analysing and interpreting financial information for decision-making and risk assessments.
Skilled in providing customer-focused reporting using both finance and non-finance information.
Proven experience in presenting and translating finance data to non-financial managers.
Excellent communication, data interpretation, and engagement skills.
