Job Description

Reporting to Operations/Despatch Manager, you will assist with the efficient day to day operations/despatch departments including:-

  • Receipt and processing of incoming mail / parcels / packets inc items from production
  • Bagging, tagging and PPIs, wrapping and strapping pallets
  • Recording + filing all despatches maintaining correct paperwork
  • Ensuring suitable stock levels of bags, con notes, bag ties, pens, markers, tape and all other materials required to maintain efficiency in the warehouse
You will have proven experience essential in warehouse/goods in environment. A Forklift licence would be ideal but not essential. You will have a good written and spoken command of English and the ability to work in a team and independently. You will havegood attention to detail and be physically fit due to the nature of work - i.e. heavy lifting of boxes, mail bags etc. Excellent IT skills are essential as 90% of the work is on the in house database. You will be happy to roll up sleeves.This role requires technical and IT expertise and oversight of mechanical requirements along with any dedicated staff, good communication skills, neat and presentable at all times. You will be open minded and willing to learn and contribute to this fantasticcompanys work ethic.Hours - 8am - 5pm, uniform provided and a driver would be beneficial.Salary - £22 - 24.000P.A.
