In this position, you will be responsible for providing IT Support for a wide range of issues including hardware, software, networking,and security. Being seen as an escalation point for the junior 1st line engineersThis role enables you to further develop your existing skills, leveraging your career-acquired knowledge. As a Senior IT Engineer, you will provide support for servers, hardware, software for workstation and cloud devices. Meet clients individual IT requirementsand manage small to medium sized projects. You will configure software applications, anti-virus software across the network and install software on PCs locally or via software distribution tools.The company have been established for decades in providing specialise IT services for their customers, growing year on year and have become a multimillion pound turned over business. They are now looking for a 2nd line support engineer to join their teamdue to organic growth.This opportunity allows you to expand your experience within the IT sector, become a senior figure in a team and work with innovative Microsoft technologies. The role involves five days onsite work and visiting client sites occasionally when field engineersneed support, making the ability to travel to around SW & W London crucial.The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience providing IT support in an MSP or school environment and have experience in the following technologies Windows, Mac OS environments, DHCP, DNS, Google Workspace for Education, Azure, and Microsoft 365.Also, strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Group Policy management and SCCM/ Intune as deployment software.This is a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with the latest IT technologies, collaborate with an established company and become a senior member of an IT team with progression and funding for your education being available within the company.
