eSift are recruiting for a highly experienced Fleet and Transport Manager for a leading healthcare distributor and wholesale of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products.Location: Chessington, SurreySalary: Up to £55k per annum + excellent benefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to manage and over see both site based operational performance and all fleet compliance within the organisation.Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, you which you will manage through your direct reports and team of support colleagues.You will be required to be a CPC qualified and already experienced Transport Operations Management professional when you will l provide exceptional expertise within a high volume fast paced logistics environment, consistently providing the timely and cost-effective distribution of goods from site to a varied customer base utilising an own account mixed fleet of vehicles.You will be fully responsible for operational performance of your department and safe and legal compliance of the fleet resources, to include: maintenance, inspections, defects, drivers operating hours, customer experience, budgetary performance (fixed & running) you will bring a confident leadership style able to enhance and develop all elements of existing processes.Our ideal candidate will have/be;
