Job Description

Town PlannerNorth-WestA fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an ambitious Town Planner to join a leading planning and environmental consultancy during an exciting time of expansion!My clients award-winning team of Planning and Environmental specialists work collaboratively to offer multidisciplinary services to a wide range of clients. They are seeking the addition of a dynamic individual who will join the team working on urban regenerationprojects, carbon capture schemes, and heading the planning process for major infrastructure development projects.Duties of the role:

  • Assisting senior staff in driving large projects forward.
  • Managing smaller planning applications.
  • Undertaking research and analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation of planning appraisals of land, buildings, and concepts.
  • Assist in preparing planning reports and planning applications.
  • Developing creative and original solutions.
  • Taking responsibility for smaller projects from the earliest stages through to completion.
  • Remaining informed about documents relating to planning policy and practice.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree qualified (RTPI) in a relevant field with a genuine interest and enthusiasm in planning.
  • Strong understanding of the principals of planning
  • Adept at presentations and technical writing.
  • Strong and coherent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a planning role advantageous.
