Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge Do you have experience supporting children and familiesIf you answered yes, then Reed Health and Care have the opportunity for you!We are proud to be working in partnership with a regional charitable organisation that advocates for Women and Children who have been impacted by Domestic abuse and other challenges that have impacted their lives.They are seeking a Children and Families Support worker to join their team based in Ellesmere Port. The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:• Planning, implementing and assessing activities for children and young people with a variety of needs following on form resettlement and refuges• Working in conjunction with families to help to develop and improve parenting skills and parent-child rapport• To work in conjunction with local schools and services to help support and engage the families.To be successful as a Children and Family worker, you must:• Hold a level 3 CYPW or equivalent• Have a minimum of 1 year UK experience in supporting children and families• Hold a UK’s Driver’s Licence with own car• Have the right to work full-time in the UK and pass a suitable background checkBenefits for you:• A salary of £25.5k per annual salary• 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays• Mileage contributions• Health plan, tech plan and Christmas saving scheme• Continuous training and professional developmentIf you believe you have the relevant experience and skills to have an impact on children and their families then apply or reach out to to discuss this opportunity further!
