Job Description

Shift Maintenance Engineer (Multi-skilled) - Permanent- CheshireJob SummaryWorking within the busy Engineering department they will be supporting all areas of Production, packing and site facilities. They will be assisting the Engineering Manager with the efficient and effective execution of the maintenance and engineering activities.Key Tasks:

  • Preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Maintenance and fault find of production and packaging equipment.
o Pneumaticso Electrical systemso Mechanicalo Knowledge of PLCs and inverter driven equipment
  • Identification and implementation of improvements.
  • Site and facility maintenance.
  • Electrical installation works.
  • Provide engineering expertise to on-going projects.
  • Regular reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Advanced apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Multiskilled qualifications (Industrial electrical / mechanical)
  • Experience of maintenance and repair of high-speed food / pharma process and packaging machinery.
Shift Pattern:Week 1 - Mon- Thurs= 6.00am - 2.15 pm Fri- 6:00am - 12.00pmWeek 2 Mon-Thurs= 2.00pm- 10.15pmFri - 11:45 - 5:45Week 3 Sun- Thurs= 10pm - 6:15pmBenefits:Company Pension (5% employer, 4% minimum employee)23 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing with service)Life AssuranceCycle to Work SchemeDiscretionary BonusFree parking
