The company is responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of refuse vehicles + more on behalf of some major blue-chipclients.Within this Technical hands-on role, you will oversee diagnose, and perform maintenance repairs on a varied fleet of vehicles/assets, ensure that all job cards have the correct information on them before being issued to the shop floor and ensure that allvehicles are scheduled and MOT bookings are in place at least three months in advance. You will also be fully responsible for overseeing the maintenance in line with manufacturers recommendations, legislation, and contractual obligations, as well as undertakeany other relevant duties, assignments, and cover at other SFS workshops when required.This role will suit a Refuse Vehicle Driver looking to take the next step in their career to a senior technician within the workshop with responsibility for the day-to-day control of a busy municipal workshop facility in addition to carrying out routinemaintenance and running repairs to a varied fleet of vehicles/equipment.
