Foodbuy is a leading food procurement organisation based in the UK. We work closelywith our clients to deliver expert procurement services saving them both time and money and enabling them to focus on what really matters to their businesses. We are looking to hire 3 x Nutritionist on a 12 month Fixed term contract basis. You will work with key stakeholders to gather the relevant information required to ensure the nutritional analysis system is up to date and accurate. The role will be to nutritionallyanalyse all food and drink products/ingredients and sign off on recipe analysis using our nutritional analysis system, Saffron. The nutritionist will sit in the procurement division of Compass Group; Foodbuy, enabling them to have great relationships with our food, culinary, and data teams. The nutritionist will need an in-depth knowledge of all the different nutritional standardsthat are in operation across the business, e.g. school meal standards, government buying standards, hospital food standards etc. The nutritionist will need to be able to engage with key stakeholders and will translate complex nutrition information into simplemessages relating to food and health. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring nutrition information is available for all products/ingredients and recipes
• Managing our nutrition analysis programme; Saffron
• Attending Foodbuy meetings around new product listings or changes to existing products
• Translating complex nutrition information into simple facts and figures
• Ability to project manage, deliver regular progress updates and ensure successful outcomes
• Work alongside culinary leads and recipe owners to ensure highest nutritional standards
• Provide expert knowledge of legislation around food and nutrition
• Ensure compliance to legislation across the whole business
• Review menus and recipes, and provide feedback on the nutritional content of the offer
• Working in partnership with other members of the nutrition team to share knowledge

Key skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Graduate of an accredited nutrition degree from university
• Registered with the Association for Nutrition
• Experience with managing an effective team
• Ability to establish a strategy and measuring the outcomes
• Confident in communicating to large groups of people and controlling challenging conversations
• Must be willing to travel to and from Chertsey
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly gain credibility with key stakeholder groups
• Professional, organised, presentable, efficient and self-motivated
• A passion for keeping up to date with research and national health events
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Detailed data analysis skills, ability to interpret data and produce high level reports
