Job Description

Fire Risk Assessor/ Fire Protection Trainer - Surrey - £32-38k + Car Help companies with how apply Fire Protection/ Fire Safety after assessing Risks in their premises.^ Benefits for Fire Risk Assessor/ Fire Protection Trainer

  • Local between Hampshire and London (Surrey Mainly).
  • £35000 - £40000 pa + Full permanent benefits + Car + Pension + Laptop

^ Role for Fire Risk Assessor/ Fire Protection Trainer
  • You would be skilled in advising on Fire Extinguishing, Signage and Safety
  • review of fire documentation (e.g., existing fire risk assessment reports; existing fire safety strategy reports; fire drawings, such as fire compartmentation drawings), as well as site visits for carrying out the fire risk assessments and fire safety auditsfor clients.
  • Ensure buildings conform to the latest Fire Related building regulations and technical standards
  • Taking particulars on site, writing up schedules of works required and in association with others, prepare specifications, obtain estimates, plan programmes of work, monitor progress of works on site, checking compliance with the specification
  • Provide a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within tight deadlines
  • Provide advice in connection with applications for Building Regulations Approval on Fire Related matters
  • Authorise and Sign off Fire risk assessments before submission to clients
  • Conduct annual internal audits on Fire risk assessors
^ Apply for Fire Risk Assessor/ Fire Protection Trainer
  • If you have NEBOSH or Fire Risk Assessors and/or Auditors qualifications by a professional institution, such as FPA, IFE etc.
  • Have experienced in conducting fire risk assessments (including Type 3), fire safety audits and writing fire risk assessment reports.
  • Understanding of the Fire Safety Act, the Building Safety Bill, and evacuation strategies, etc
