My client, a reputable construction and maintenance company are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to join their growing team.Role objectives:Provide up to date QSHE advice across the business.Develop and manage the risk management andquality management system within the business.Develop and promote health and safety awareness and responsibilities throughout the company.Develop and deliver QSHE training.Monitor, audit and ensure safe working practices of all staff and sub-contractors.Contribute effectively to all QSHE needs across the project lifecycle from tender, planning, construction to review and documentary close of projects.Duties to include:Represent the company internally and externally at briefings, site meetings, investigations and audits including external agencies.Manage, review and analyse QSHE performance and where required investigate accidents/incidents in line with best practice.Develop, manage and disseminate method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) for the work to be delivered.Take responsibility for company accreditation schemes e.g. ISO, CHAS, Safe Contractor.Carryout audit and inspection of all areas of the business especially projects, to ensure risk assessment and health and safety complianceContinue the development of the quality assurance, health and safety and environment compliance across the company.Develop, manage and deliver skills updates, training and sector refresh across the business including completing weekly toolbox talk with employee.Experience/ Knowledge and qualificationsExperience of responsibility for Health and Safety within the Construction Industry(Essential)Relevant professional qualification, degree or equivalent experience (Essential)NEBOSH (Desirable)This role is predominately site based. The majority of projects will be within a 45 minute drive from the company office.You will be required to undergo a DBS clearance check
