The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Head of Product Training Strategy based in Chertsey, Surrey. This is a permanent position with Blue Square, supporting and working closely with our client Samsung, offering a salary between £58,000 to £61,480 per annum witha great bonus.This is the perfect role if you want the opportunity to:• Utilise your people and project management experience to drive growth and innovation across our fantastic training team• Drive the strategy and direction of digital product and sales training, to drive brand advocacy and sell-outThe RoleAs the Head of Product Training Strategy for our client Samsung, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and direction of digital product and sales training on new handsets and technologies launching within customer channels and SEUK mobile staff,to drive brand advocacy and sell-out. You will be responsible for the planning, development, and evaluation of all current and new programmes across mobile training, to meet departmental goals and objectives.Utilising your people management and development experience, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing Senior HQ training management team across three pillars in our training function, which are retail programs, online training, and content projectmanagement. You will create and develop bespoke, effective plans to increase individual capability aligned to our client’s requirements and liaise with the senior management team to make sure that learning solutions are delivered on time, to cost, whilst makingcontinuous improvements to evolve and drive business performance.We’re looking for candidates with extensive experience in people and project management to support the drive of growth innovation across our training team, whilst providing a best-in-class service to our client.Key Responsibilities:• Directly responsible for the day-to-day management of the HQ training operation overseeing the creation of training content, and e-learning ambassador touchpoints• Leading a high-performing Senior HQ Training management team, liaising/communicating with external vendors• Managing creation and delivery of best-in-class development programmes, including internal client product training• Measuring and evaluating all training which is delivered via digital touchpoints as well as content for its added value to the business• Researching and developing a range of training programs that meet the demands of sales staff• Coverage management and employee journey planning• Ensuring ROI is demonstrated across all plans and initiatives driving business wide commercial KPIs• Working with senior stakeholders both in Blue Square and the client to execute an outstanding training strategy.Skill and ExperienceEssential:• Great understanding of new technology with a passion for continuous learning• Previous experience in conducting learning needs analysis (LNA)• Experience in creating training content and training delivery• Strong leadership and people management/development skills• Effective at negotiating and influencing internal and external stakeholders• Previous experience in E-learning portal management• Previous experience in Brand Ambassador programme implementation• Experience in project management• Experience in managing high-level, high-performing management teams• Experience in working with internal Go to Market and HQ teamsDesirable:• Previous experience in a telecommunications / consumer electronics environment• Project management qualification• Campaign management experienceWhat’s in it for you• Salary: £58,000 - £61,480 per annum• Bonus: 10% performance related bonus• Company car• Company Sick Pay• Life Assurance: 4 x annual salary• PerkboxEquality, Diversity, and InclusionWe aim to ensure that all applicants are provided with the same opportunities during the recruitment processes, to that end, we strive to comply with the duties placed upon us to make reasonable adjustments as prescribed by equalities legislation.
