Maths TeacherJob Type: Full-time, TemporaryLocation: March, CambridgeSalary: £130 - £211 per dayWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join the team at a vibrant and diverse secondary school. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students from Year 7 to Year 11, preparingthem for their GCSE exams and contributing to the development of the Maths department and the wider school community.Day to Day of the role:Teach Maths to students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3 to 4.Follow the national curriculum guidelines to prepare students for GCSE exams.Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to all students.Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.Contribute to the Maths department’s growth and share best practices with colleagues.Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school’s community spirit.Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.Required Skills & Qualifications:Recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).Degree in Maths or a related subject.Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school environment.Strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence.Commitment to maintaining high teaching and learning standards.Willingness to engage in extracurricular activities and school development.Valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.Benefits:Competitive daily pay rate reflecting experience and national pay scale.Supportive and friendly school environment.Opportunities for professional development.Chance to make a significant impact on students’ educational journey.To apply for this Maths Teacher position, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your passion for education and relevant experience.
