Chemistry Laboratory leaderThis is a permanent opportunity . Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to one of the leading food testing laboratory based in Cambridgeshire. In this role you will be managing a team of laboratory technicians. Responsibilities:• Responsible to running day to day activities within the chemistry laboratory.• Provide technical and quality training for all the new starters • Ensure that adequate amount of staff is present at all times in the laboratory• Analysing food samples using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC• Ensure all team members are performing duties/tests according ISO17025 guidelines • Qualifications:• Degree in science or equivalent • Proven experience in using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, GC• Proven operational experience and team management within food/water/environmental chemistry testing laboratory – happy to consider candidates who currently work as a senior analyst and looking for career progression • Proven project management skills and experience, lean production principlesRequired skills
