Job Description

Bid Manager - St Neots (PE19) - Perm - Full Time

  • Salary range £48,000 - £59,000 (DOE)

We’re looking for a Bid Manager to join our small, friendly Bid Team made up of three professionals. It’s our job to deliver compliant and compelling proposals, putting MASS in the strongest possible position to secure the business it is bidding for.Reporting to our Senior Bid Manager, this role could be based from either our St Neots or Lincoln office. We tend to work three days in the office and two days from home, giving you the best of both worlds: flexibility and collaboration.How you’ll support usYou’ll be responsible for controlling all aspects of the end-to-end bid process, from initial qualification through to bid submission and contract award:
  • Produce persuasive bids demonstrating the ability of the Company to deliver quality solutions
  • Collation of estimates and cost inputs from SMEs; prepare and present cost data into the appropriate corporate format in readiness for governance
  • Timely planning, management, and completion of all bid submissions including Expression of Interest, Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire’s and formal tender responses
  • Supporting of opportunity planning activities across company where appropriate
  • Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams
The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve moreWe’re expecting that you’ll have done essential aspects of this role before and be able to demonstrable experience and knowledge of best bid practise. You’ll be highly organised and have strong written and presentational skills, with the ability to spotthe more minute details.Although not essential, if you have experience of supporting/leading pricing development and are APMP Foundation qualified, we would love to know.Our non-negotiables:Due to the highly secure nature of the projects that you will be involved with, you must be:
  • A UK National and eligible to work in the UK
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government SC-level security clearance
