Job role: Team Leader - Supported livingLocation: Derby, DE21 4PEHours of work: Full time hours, flexibility to work a varied shift pattern to include weekends and evenings on a rota basisSalary: Circa £25000In partnership with a professional, forward thinking, and established provider of care and housing, I am seeking a skilled and experienced team leader to join the management team at their Chaddesden based supported living service.You will provide high quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours. As a forward-thinking care professional, you will demonstrate a passion for care and support, an excellent understanding of CQC policies andbe an inspirational leader and mentor for your team.Employed on a full-time basis, working 5 days over 7, you will be responsible for all elements of:* Care and support planning* Shift leading* Medication and personal care* Delivering, supervising, and facilitating the delivery of care packages* Administering medication* Community and activity planning/involvement* Liaising with external agencies and families* Auditing, recruitment, and report writing* Deputising for the manager in their absenceThis is the perfect opportunity for someone who is seeking to step up from a senior support worker role, or someone who is a highly skilled support worker seeking their next step on the career ladder.You must demonstrate the following skills and experience:" Hold the level 2 or 3 in health and social care or be willing to work towards this" Demonstrate a proven background in the social care sector. This will preferably be within service for adults with learning disabilities but transferable knowledge and experience from other CQC services will be considered" Be flexible to work a varied shift pattern, including weekend working and evenings on a rota basisIf successful, you will receive a salary circa £25000, enhanced annual leave allowance and an excellent training package.
