3 days a week role - c. £80-90k + 15% bonus (pro-rated) - 1 day a week in the office (London OR Bristol)

If so, we have a fantastic job share opportunity available for the role of Finance Senior Manager - Governance & Process Improvement.You will lead and interact with teams both on-shore and off-shore to drive transformational change in the finance arena. Finance experience is imperative, and change/project governance will be key to your role. You will be driving various projects to ensuresuccessful change implementation while safeguarding the financial and operational integrity of Consumer Finance and related areas.You and your team will oversee Concept-to-Cash governance, ensuring protection against inaccurate billing for both the business and customers. Process improvement will be integral to your role. You will also manage risk, identifying, managing, and mitigatingrisks to Consumer Finance. When necessary, you will facilitate resolutions for risks or issues.This job share opportunity entails working three days a week within a fantastic and welcoming team in an excellent working environment.   • Team Management: shared responsibility for leading a team of 10 individuals, shaping the teams strategy, driving continuous improvement, fostering team development, and ultimately ensuring a high performing, supported, and content team.
  • Change Governance: Accountable for assessing project changes, recognising their impacts, engaging relevant teams, and integrating change into all areas of Consumer Finance (Concept to Cash) that are affected.
  • Concept to Cash Governance: Responsible for governing the Concept to Cash framework, ensuring accuracy across pre-bill, billing, and bill-to-cash processes while minimising risk to both customers and the business.
  • Consumer VAT Accountability: Accountable for assessing projects for VAT (Value Added Tax) impact, providing VAT requirements, and successfully delivering them on a best-efforts basis.
  • Process Improvement: identifying and implementing process improvements across Consumer Finance.
  • Risk Management and Strategic Implementation: Accountable for managing risks on behalf of the Consumer Finance management team.
  • Reporting & Presenting: Accountable for compiling, producing, and presenting operational and management reports at the director level.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: establishing and maintaining close working relationships with multiple teams across the organisation, hosting regular operational and director-level meetings.
  • KPIs & Reporting: Collaborating with other business areas to design KPIs that accurately reflect performance and risk. Working closely with other teams to compile KPIs into monthly reporting decks for senior leaders.
  • Regulation, Audit, and Internal Control: Involved in consumer regulation and ensuring the controls environment covers risks related to Concept to Cash and change management.

  • Management and Leadership: Adept at leading both direct and virtual teams, providing coaching and mentoring for improved performance, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships within and across teams.
  • Communication and Presentation: Effectively articulates business needs to teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders through oral and written communication, tailoring messages appropriately. Proficient in presenting to different audience levels.
  • Organisation and Time Management: Ensures timely delivery of tasks without compromising quality, effectively manages deadlines.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving: Considerately assesses and balances risk against business needs, adept at problem-solving and challenging the status quo when necessary.
  • Innovation and Pragmatism: Establishes new processes, controls, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms while dealing with ambiguity and determining pragmatic solutions.
  • Analytical and Financial Acumen: Analyses information to extract key messages, identify issues and root causes, and has the ability to understand and simplify financial processes and reports.
  • Business Acumen and Prioritisation: Demonstrates knowledge in business strategy, organisational performance drivers, and financial literacy while effectively prioritising work.
