Job Description

Location: LondonDivision: Live Nation UK & Academy Music GroupLine Manager: Human Resources Manager, Live NationContract Terms: Fixed Term 6 Month Contract, 40 hours per weekThe Job Responsible for providing a comprehensive HR Advisory service to Live Nation UK, Academy Music Group and all their subsidiary companies. Ensuring that best practice is followed, in addition to supporting the wider HR team when needed.   • Experience working in an HR generalist role in an advisory capacity
  • In depth knowledge of current UK employment law
  • CIPD qualification/ HR qualification would be advantageous
  • Work visa and immigration requirements and understanding of application processes.
  • Experience of using an HRIS system, preferably Workday
  • Solid Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • What The Role Includes
  • Provide accurate and consistent HR advice and guidance to line managers in relation to employee relations issues including, restructures, flexible working, performance concerns, absence issues, investigations, grievances and disciplinary hearings
  • Escalating all bullying and harassment claims to HR Managers and Head of HR
  • Build relationships with line managers within the business to swiftly grasp key business and management issues
  • Ensure that relevant policy, process and employment law is followed, necessary evidence is collated and documented, and consistent and appropriate action is taken
  • Coach and provide assistance to supervisors and managers to successfully achieve the above
  • Update and maintain electronic personal records using the Company System (Workday) in the absence of the HR Administrator
  • Provide advice and appropriate support to both individuals and hiring managers in the process of visa applications where deemed necessary and flag any concerns with the HR Manager
  • Monitor and highlight engagement index trends and anomalies
  • Assist with project work as directed by the HR Manager or HR Director
  • Manage Maternity, Paternity and Shared Parental leave processes from start to finish
  • Cover the HR Administrator duties as and when required
  • Support the wider HR team with Company Benefits and Wellbeing initiatives
  • Reporting
  • Maintain centralised absence records, liaising with Payroll for adjustments in accordance with Company Sick Pay entitlements
  • Ensure that all absences are self-certified on our Company System (Workday) and/or doctor’s certificate where appropriate including reminding line managers of medical certificates that are due to expire
  • Report all patterns and long-term sickness (over 4 weeks) to the HR Manager on a monthly basis
  • Report on monthly engagement scores and work with line managers where concerns need investigating
  • Work with HR administrator to compile quarterly HR business reports
