Elevation Recruitment are looking for an Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our largest manufacturing clients based in the Barnsley area with immediate effect!Salary: £40,000Location: BarnsleyHours: Days onlyA few of the many benefits: * Overtime rates available * Work for a well-established, financially stable company* 25 days holiday plus stats* Pension scheme* Christmas Shutdown* Employee Assistance ProgramDuties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer: * Provide Electrical and mechanical support to both production and equipment at all times* Creating a concise log of events whilst doing all aspects of role including failure reports and PPMs* Always working to a continuous improvement plan to make the company and its employees the best it can be* Ensure you are always compliant to health and safety standards* Fault finding will be a part of the daily role on PLCs* Attending to breakdowns and working to ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum* This role involves a lot of mechanical engineering as well as electrical, so must be flexible* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance dailyDesired Experience:* Must have a strong background within Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance* Apprentice trained with NVQ Level3, HNC/ HND/ ONC/ OND or equivalent in electrical engineering* Ideally have 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment previously* Must have experience of fault finding on PLCs* Must be a team player, but also able to work from own initiative if needs be* Be able to work to tight deadlines* Other duties as and when required* This is a lone standing role so must be a confident individual with their skill set, but also a team player For further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation Recruitment.REFER A FRIEND!
