Job Description

My client is a constantly growing and extraordinarily busy manufacturing/engineering business that now needs a Production Manager to oversee the many various aspects of the operation.This truly is a hands on type of role where you will be involved in every aspect, from communicating workflow to the teams to being involved in purchasing, systems implementation, continuous improvement and more!This role would suit someone that has come up through the ranks. Someone that started on the shop floor and has hands on experience. Someone preferably that has had assembly, engineering, tooling, welding type skills. This will enable you to communicatewith confidence to the teams there when discussing what needs to be done and when sorting out issues and complications that can arise in a busy engineering business.This is a challenge! It will be varied, interesting, tough and fast moving. You will constantly be thinking on your feet and you will have to utilise all of your skills, from shopfloor to team management, to be a success in this role.You will love it!
