Job Description

Job Title: Production Control Administrator - Near Great Yarmouth3 Month Fixed Term contractHours: Basic 40 hour working week Additional hours where necessary to ensure successful completion of responsibilities. 8.00am - 4.30pm (Monday - Friday) Lunch break 1.00pm - 1.30pm My client operates form a large manufacturing plant and prides themselves on being market leaders in their field. They are currently working alongside some of the industrys most prestigious manufacturers, providing the finest products and solutions. The role:To assist the Production Control team in all aspects of Production Planning, including production scheduling and hastening of material supply with vendors. Coordinating site services where appropriate and ensuring COSHH certificates are filed correctly. Other adhoc administrative duties will also be involved from time to time. The person:The role requires an organised person, versatile and adaptable to the needs of the business with a personality capable of managing several tasks to timescales simultaneously. Must be a team player with an appreciation of working to deadlines. The requirements:* Experience of purchasing administrative processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.* Experience of using MRP systems methodology and transaction processes * Good personal organisation, flexibility and motivation * Ability to work on own initiative or with others on tasks with minimum supervision. * Good telephone manner* Empathetic when dealing with others internally and externally.* Good PC skills (MS Office) Desirable abilities (but not essential)* Appreciation of engineering manufacturing processes* Understanding of inventory management processes and practiceTechnique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist engineering and manufacturing recruitment company based in Norfolk
