Lunatus Education is working witha lively, friendly, successful school for students age 11 to 19 with severe orprofound and multiple learning difficulties. Some also have complex physical disabilities/medical conditions orsevere autism.They are seekingenthusiastic, flexible and energetic teaching assistants to join the team on a permanent basis. Their teaching assistants work throughout the school to support our teachers in securing high quality learning and life skills achievement. Youneed to be conscientious, willing to learn new skills, fit and motivated, and able to work as part of a team. Experience of working with children/young people, or adults with learning difficulties/cognitive impairment or in a care environment is preferred.The role includes working with young people with challenging behaviour, so physical and emotional resilience is required.Working hours are 9am - 3.20pm daily, with a 8.45am start on Wednesdays to accomodate the weekly staff meeting.Full training will be provided and we have a proven record of supporting staff to develop their careers into teaching.
