School Nurse - Band 5Central Surrey Health LimitedClifton Hill School, Caterham.Ref : 281Days £17.69 per hourSaturdays and nights £22.74 per hourSundays and bank holidays £27.79 per hourCould you be an NHS Professional Central Surrey Health Limited is currently seeking a Band 5 School Nurse to work at Clifton Hill School. This role is a part time vacancy working 18.75 hours per week during term time until July 2023. The main purpose of the role will to be responsible foroverseeing the provision of health care for children and young people, aged 2-19 years, with severe/profound and multiple learning and physical difficulties. This will be achieved by providing expert training, advice and support to the school staff and otherpeople involved in their care.We are NHS Professionals (NHSP), working together to care for patients in the NHS.   • Liaise with Education staff regarding the students
  • Develop and maintain communication with people about difficult matters and/or in a difficult situation.
  • Provide specialist clinical guidance to staff and other agencies
  • Assess complex health and well being needs and develop, monitor and review care plans to meet those needs.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.You will have the following qualification/experience:
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a School Nurse working on behalf of a UK hospital within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training*
