This is a great opportunity to progress an extensive career in Early Years!Position: Nursery PractitionerSalary: Up to £21,000Hours: 45 Hours a weekAge Group: BabiesResponsible to: Manager /Deputy ManagerPlease note you will need a minimum of a Level 2 Qualification in Childcare and 1 years experience to apply for this role.General Description of the Job: To provide care that promotes the social, intellectual and physical development of the children at Rainbows Day Nursery.Main Duties: To help with the setting out and clearing up. To work within the timetable and rotas set by the Manager and/or Deputy Manager. To work within the nurserys key worker policy. To assist in creative and general play activities. To assist in providing a safe and suitable place for the children attending Rainbows Day Nursery. To assist in the preparation of snacks and in the cleaning of the toys and equipment. To assist in keeping records. To be aware of, work within and promote the policies and procedures of Rainbows Day Nursery. To attend meetings as and when required. To assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of a programme of activities for all the children ensuring that the children have an enjoyable, happy and safe time. To actively engage in your own professional development and training including taking up training opportunities that may be offered to you by/through the nursery to maximise your potential and to enhance the quality of Rainbows Day Nursery.
