As a Solar Roofer, you would play a vital role in installing and maintaining solar panel systems on various rooftops. Your expertise will directly contribute to our clients missionof advancing renewable energy adoption and reducing carbon emissions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops.
  • Ensure accurate placement and alignment of solar panels to maximise energy generation efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to securely mount solar panels while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct thorough roof inspections to determine suitability for solar panel installation.
  • Identify and address any potential structural issues that may impact the installation process.
  • Provide recommendations for roof repairs or modifications as needed.
  • Work closely with electricians to assist in the wiring and connection of solar panels to electrical systems.
  • Ensure proper grounding and safe electrical connections to prevent hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of installed solar panels to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues affecting solar panel efficiency and functionality.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address and resolve technical problems.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines, protocols, and industry standards while working on rooftops and elevated structures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment and follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience as a solar roofer in a related roofing or construction role.
  • Proficiency in rooftop work, including familiarity with roofing materials, structures, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Relevant certifications in roofing, safety, or solar panel installation are advantageous.
