Job Description

Role: Warehouse OperativeContract: PermanentSalary: £21,288Location: CannockAs a Warehouse Operativeyou will be responsible for;

  • Handlingand processing goods flowing through the Central Parts Warehouse in accordance with Parts Operations SLAs.
  • Collectively picking approx. 2,500 lines per month. Handling approx. 3,000 inbound and 3,500 outbound consignments per month.
  • Receipt, storage, distribution and control of parts and materials to internal and external customers.
  • Regular monitoring of picking note screen, releasing all orders available to be picked
  • Picking and packing parts for Customers/Engineers, with correct identification and paperwork
  • Undertakingreceipt and checking of incoming stock, in line with company Goods In process.
  • Ensuringall loading and unloading of vehicles and warehouse is conducted according to Health and Safety requirements
  • Cross-docking of consignments, preparing for onward ship with correct information and paperwork
  • Physical location of stock items within the Warehouse, and update of location details in M3
  • Dispatching outgoing orders selecting appropriate courier, ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met
  • Processing receipt of Customer/Engineer returns, using usage data to determine if item should be stocked or returned to Supplier for credit
  • Liaisingwith Suppliers for return of parts for credit, raising necessary claim paperwork in M3
  • Processing parts returned under Warranty and enter details on Warranty database
  • All delivery discrepancies reported on the day of occurrence in accordance to the documented Discrepancy Reporting procedure
As a Warehouse Operative you will demonstrate;
  • Good level of communication skills
  • Experience with the use of M3
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy
As a Warehouse Operative you will command;
  • A base salary from £21,288pa based on a 40 hour working week
