Job Description

ESTIMATORDue to exciting growth in the last 12 months our client, a long-established leading national construction and facilities company, require an Estimator to join their team. A superb opportunity for someone looking to develop their career.LOCATION - Office-based role (West Midlands, WS postcode)THE ROLEThe Estimator position is an office-based role and works closely with sales, production, supply chain and project teams. The role involves:
  • Designing and drafting layouts and elevations for new build facilities (use of CAD design software).
  • Scoping pricing parameters and outlining material volumes and usage.
  • Taking an integral role in the delivery of large scale project commitments across the UK.
  • Supporting internal team and end clients with technical queries and changes project specifications.
THE PERSON NEEDED:For the Estimator role our client is happy to support new hires with ongoing training and development. No construction sector experience is needed, but the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
  • Prior experience in a professional estimating role.
  • The ability to draft plans and drawings with accuracy.
  • Knowledge of and experience using CAD software e.g. AutoCAD or similar.
  • A positive team attitude and an interest in career development.
