Job Description

This opportunity is perfect for individuals seeking career advancement in the Finance Sector and aiming to gain invaluable experiencewithin a dynamic and supportive work environment.The chosen candidate will primarily assist the Senior Financial Accountant, undertaking key tasks such as conducting balance sheet reconciliations, managing asset movements, and verifying contract specifics.Your responsibilities as the Assistant Financial Accountant will include:

  • Generate Vector Schedules to align the general ledger with the Fixed Asset sub ledger
  • Compile monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage asset commissioning, acquisitions, transfers, disposals, lease postings, and journals
  • Conduct Asset Verifications at different sites across the UK&I business
  • Aid in preparing Fixed Asset Statutory Notes
  • Develop Fixed Asset Budget & Forecast schedules
  • Handle all other ad hoc reporting for the UK&I business
The successful Assistant Financial Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Part-Qualified - ACCA or CIMA (with completion of all ACCA F papers and final stage for CIMA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Google Suite
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining dedication to meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration across all business sectors
  • Understanding of producing related Financial and Statutory asset notes
