Are you an experienced Technical BuyerAre you determined to establish and maintain key relationshipsMy well-established client is looking for their next Technical Buyer to join the Procurement Team.Benefits package includes: Annual bonus scheme Hybrid working Pension scheme (min 4%, max 7%) company matches the benefit PLUS 1% Life assurance 4x base salary Health cash plan Employee share purchase plan Reward gateway- online discounts Cycle to work Childcare vouchers Paid studies Free parkingDaily duties and responsibilities: Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers Ensure that requisitions from the business (energy and transportation) are managed in accordance with agreed service levels Get best value for the business through procurement sourcing processes whilst also prioritising lead time and other factors that are important to the business Drive compliance to procurement policies and contribute to departmental KPIs: Spend Under Control Spend Under Contract Retrospective Orders Spend on PO Preferred Suppliers and Programmes of Work Collaborate with Category Managers and support compliance with category strategies and to execute subcategory tendering activity when necessary to address category gaps Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are understood and satisfied using the most appropriate transaction method considering risk and agility Manage supplier performance and develop relationships to ensure that business requirements are metSkills and qualifications: Customer Focus where you continuously paying attention to customer needs and adapting as these evolve. Motivated to drive results, communicating, developing, and executing plans Minimum 3 years experience as a Technical Buyer Conflict resolution Ability to create RFx documents Basic knowledge of supply contracts would be an advantage Microsoft skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel SAP Ariba skills would be a distinct advantage Strong analytical skills Strong negotiation skills MCIPS or progress towards itIf you have the relevant skills and experience, please contact Amber in the Reed Wolverhampton Office or apply directly!
