Job Description

The Opportunity: Inventory ControllerContract: 6 Month FTCLocation: CannockThe Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.   • Release/authorise parts purchase orders periodically throughout the day to ensure orders are processed before supplier cut off times
  • Send purchase orders to suppliers when required and obtain confirmation of receipt
  • Set up of new part number requests within agreed timescales
  • Manage parts supersessions and alternate parts within M3 system
  • Adjust pricing of parts in the system as and when required
  • Assist the service center and workshop with status 22 and status 90 queries
  • Provide support for Service Centre to assist in closure of jobs, liaising with Van Stock Controllers to ensure appropriate actions are taken with inventory items
  • Investigate and process auto goods receipting system exceptions approx. 250/day
  • Confirm delivery and goods receipt direct to site parts deliveries communicating change of ETA to Parts Requisition Processor
  • Process tyre fitting and supply order receipting.
  • Liaise with parts suppliers to resolve delivery issues, processing any relevant claims in accordance with supplier claims & returns procedures
  • Log and progress supplier quality issues, update status in M3
  • Utilise LBI reports for data extracts for required Parts information
