Job Description

The Opportunity: Communication SpecialistContract: PermanentLocation: CannockThe Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.   • Regular articles to be published on publishing platforms for individual businesses and issued to the trade press
  • At least 3 video topics to be published per year including tutorial subjects and major customer testimonials
  • Social media coverage of events to happen in a timely fashion, including before, during and after
  • Publishing material which supports and reinforces any topical campaign messaging
  • Maintaining regular contact with primary suppliers to ensure awareness of important subjects that can be used to publish advisory and educational material
  • Assist with co-ordination of corporate events, including commercial, promotional or charity events
  • Develop and implement the internal communications plan in-line with business objectives, including mental health and well-being.
  • Provide promotional / comms support for the Charity committee
  • To work with the Communications Supervisor in the delivery of the company’s requirements and to support the Group Marketing Manager on ad hoc projects as required
What will help you to excel in this role:
  • Extensive experience of working within a Marketing team
  • Extremely strong written English skills and proven track record of producing PR and editorial content
  • Practical experience using image editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) and also design software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
  • Experience of publishing online using Content Management Systems
