Job Description

Senior System Administrator (A/V Engineering)Location: Canary WharfSalary: up to £80,000Role Type: 5 months FTC (Fixed Term Contract)This role will be working onsite with a financial service customer and will involve high-level Audio Visual Engineering including architecture, support, migration and implementation experience. The Senior System Administrator will be required to have a strong AV knowledge across firewall integration of SAAS solutions, Voice/Video streams, split-tunneling, capture/retention integration, and experience with Zoom on large scale projects.Responsibilities:

  • Analyse user requirements, and design and build solutions
  • Define and create testing procedures
  • Create design and architecture documents
  • Create KB articles for L2 and L1 teams
  • Act as L3 for production issues
  • Liaise with peers in other infrastructure teams to ensure designs fit their needs
    • Technical Skills
  • end-user application experience across Windows/iOS/MacOS
  • design, packaging, testing - pre-production engineering
  • general AV knowledge (firewall integration of SAAS solutions, Voice/Video streams, split-tunneling, capture/retention integration
  • Experience with Zoom
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to create documentation and communicate to people at different technical levels Work with global peers to ensure cross-team knowledge transfer
