Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a talented Java Developer to work in FinTech with Blockchain technology, learn new technologies/development languages and work with the best.As part of this companys growth journey to industry leader, as a Java Developer you will join an established on and off-shore team where you can learn multiple languages and technologies. This is a great opportunity that will enable you to work alongside ahighly skilled people and with some of the latest technology (AI/ML, DevOps), concepts and methodologies (Agile, CI/CD).You will be working from home, attending the office once per month.As Java Developer (Full Stack or Back End) you remit will include:

  • Development in Java (server side)
  • SQL queries and table design
  • Architecture, design and implementation of n-tier systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
Ideally you will be a full stack developer however back end developers will also be considered.Any experience of the following would be a real bonus:
  • Ethereum blockchain
  • AWS or Azure
  • React, Docker, Postgres, SpringBoot, Unix shell scripting.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to multiple languages and technologies.
  • Experience in FinTech (commodities, logistics or shipping).
In return, the Java Developer will receive a salary of up to £70,000 per annum according to experience plus pension, benefits allowance, bonus package, training and development events.
