Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Finance Execution LawyerLocation: London (Hybrid)Opportunity Overview: Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Financial Execution Lawyer to join a leading Financial Services company in London. This role is a 6 month contract which is an ideal opportunityfor an individual to gain exposure in a fast paced and high-performance workplaceRole Objective: The companys Deleveraging and Lending Group (DLG) focuses on traditional commercial real estate lending as well as warehouse lending for pools of loan assets. The business which sits within the Fixed Income Division is recognizedfor providing traditional and innovative financing techniques, helping a wide range of clients throughout Europe to execute their business strategy. DLG is looking to recruit an Execution Lawyer with commercial real estate finance experience to work on directcommercial real estate lending transactions (which may have a securitisation exit) as well as commercial real estate warehouse lending transactions. This role will include working with originators and syndication teams to help structure and execute transactionswith involvement from initial underwriting stage through to exit of the risk position. The ideal candidate will also have experience in a broader range of structured finance transactions, including securitisations and repackagings. This is a varied and excitingrole with plenty of scope to develop within a busy and growing teamKey Responsibilities: Main responsibilities centre on working with the core underwriting teams on commercial real estate lending and warehouse lending, including:- Preparing and reviewing term sheets- Advising on the structure of transactions taking into account legal, regulatory, tax and other constraints- Liaising with outside counsel to prepare transaction documentation- Assisting in the execution of structured finance lending transactionsRequirements & Skills: Law Degree At least 5+ PQE City or equivalent banking law experience with a major law firm or investment bank (experience with transaction execution on the desk would be advantageous) Familiarity with LMA documentation, warehouse lending documentation (ideally familiar with US repos as well as English law loan-on-loan facilities) and securitisation transactions Commercially driven with ability to adapt to varied workload Ability to work in a team and individually Self driven and proactive Excellent verbal and written communication skills
