Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and hardworking individual to provide administrative and casework support to the Professionals Regulation teams.Closing date: 21 July 2022 (12pm)Interview dates: Telephone interviews: 8-9 August; Virtual interviews: 16-17 AugustSalary: £28,905 per annum, plus benefitsLocation: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working approach)Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to FridayThe roleThis is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support our teams to investigate allegations concerning pharmacy professionals fitness to practice and progress cases to closure in line with the GPhCs objectives and targets forquality, timeliness and cost. The postholder will also be responsible for a small caseload of matters which require monitoring and provide reports to the Fitness to Practise Committee as required.The successful applicant will:

  • Possess the ability to work autonomously and under pressure, problem-solve, keep within operational guidance and know when to escalate matters.
  • Have a strong commitment to delivering good customer service and will be able to build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have relevant administrative experience, possess first class written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt messages for different audiences; influence and deal tactfully with a wide range of people and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Be able to prioritise workloads and demonstrate strong attention to detail whilst appreciating the necessity to handle sensitive and confidential data responsibly.
  • Own a varied workload, ranging from monitoring registrant undertakings and suspensions, updating electronic systems, assembling bundles of evidence etc.
