Job Description

Were looking for a Team Leader, Maintenance to become a part of our team in Davidstow. Are you passionate about moving things forward, being hands-on to find solutions, and supporting a team that crafts quality dairy productsHere at our Davidstow site where youll be based, we manufacture and produce our Cathedral City and Davidstow cheddar ranges also, Whey and GOS which is short for Galacto-oligosaccharides!Whereas our other sites manufacture and produce other well-known brands such as Clover & Frylight. YOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY

  • Providing engineering leadership and technical support to the WPF engineering shift teams to provide operational stability of the process through asset care and maintenance.
  • Controlling all engineering activities including driving right first-time repair, eliminating rework, and driving OEE across the plant.
  • Setting and maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Environmental and Hygiene in line with with world class manufacturing site.
  • Management & supervision of Contractors in line with company risk control standards.
  • Maintaining a continuous improvement approach in the development of the teams, systems and equipment. Integration of reliability and CI methodologies set out by and in conjunction with the Asset Care Team.
YOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE
  • Multi-skilled and time served engineer with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of equipment and systems of a similar operation.
  • Demonstrable excellent team working and motivational skills with leadership qualities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience in interpreting data to provide status report on team activities against plan.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and water processing systems.
