Were looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to become a part of our team in Davidstow on a 2 year fixed term contract.Are you passionate about moving things forward, being hands-on to find solutions, and supporting a team that crafts quality dairy productsYOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY...

Supporting the permitting and control of contractors on site for capital projects and planned maintenance activities.
Supporting CDM, preparation, documentation and implementation for site including capital projects.
Supporting the upliftment of site Risk Control Standards.
Contractor auditing e.g. documentation, permits, work activities etc. against Group H&S and Site standards.
Safely undertake all work in accordance with site and group H&S standards and promote a culture of safe working within all departments.
Working on an individual basis as well as part of the wider health and safety team to maintain, prioritise and efficiently close out safety compliance works.

YOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE

IOSH managing Safety or equivalent with a strong history of permitting and job controlling contractors. NEBOSH General Certificate would be a bonus.
Demonstrates strong analytical and planning skills, with a strong ability for problem solving.
High degree of computer literacy.
Can work under pressure, multitask and self-accountable.
Demonstrable decision-making skills, work proactively and willing to take the initiative
Must have good communication and presentation skills.
Awareness and understanding of key legislative and safety requirements.
