Job Description

If you share our passion for better and want your contributions at work to matter, we have an opportunity as an Environment Advisor.Here at our Davidstow site where youll be based, we manufacture and produce our Cathedral City and Davidstow cheddar ranges also, Whey and GOS which is short for Galacto-oligosaccharides!How you will make contributions that matter...

  • Actively contributes to ensure compliance with ISO14001, EA Permit and Abstraction/Discharge consent requirements.
  • Ensure reports for the Environmental Permit are accurately completed and submitted within required time frames.
  • Provide support and input to ensure that submissions in respect of Climate Change Levy (CCL) are accurately completed and submitted within required time frames.
  • Maintain records and report on weekly or daily KPIs for permit and therefore site compliance
  • Build key external stakeholder relationships with staff, contractors, neighbours, regulators and interest groups as required
  • Raise awareness of the pledges and KPIs to engage staff on sustainability across the site.
You are best suited for the role if you have
  • A Science or Environmental Management degree.
  • Understanding of environmental legislation relevant to the site and operation
  • Awareness of compliance to an ISO 14001 standard programme.
  • Awareness of the interpretation of environmental legal compliance.
  • Experience in dynamic flexible team working.
